Update from Coach Steve Reger

While most of our kids were enjoying a day off from school, our Mock Trial team journeyed down to the Hamilton County Courthouse to participate in the Regional tournament. For the 14th year in a row (and the 17th time in the past 18 years), we are going to State!

Teams went 6-2 (scoring tough wins over the likes of Summit, McCauley, Walnut Hills, and St. X), and won 10 of 16 possible individual awards.

Specifically, Antonio Vega-Torres (12), West Gardner (12), Sumner Colohan (11), Sydney Poffenberger (9), Bridget Schumacher (9), and Brooke Youngblood (9) each won one Outstanding Witness award.

Albert Kwon (11) and Ethan Marx (9) each won one Outstanding Attorney award, and James Orr (12) won two Outstanding Attorney awards.

Our record for the year now stands at 25-7, and in March, we will be attempting to win a record-breaking 7th State Championship!

I hope you'll join me in congratulating our kids on such an impressive showing!
