In an auditorium designed for student performance, on Wednesday, Sept. 5, it was an officer with the Indian Hill Rangers who took center stage; Indian Hill High School (IHHS) students filled the seats, and the presentation touched on real-life learning centered on student safety.

“The safety and security of our students and our staff are top priorities,” said IHHS Principal Jeff Damadeo. “We work hand-in-hand with our Indian Hill Rangers to ensure each day our students and staff feel safe and secure in our building and across our District. This annual presentation is one additional way to open the safety conversation up to our students to be transparent in our approach.”

As part of the safety presentation, Indian Hill Rangers hosted a question and answer session with students in both a large group setting as well as an individual setting.

IHHS administrators work directly with the Rangers on annual updates to building safety and crisis-response process improvement.

“We are so fortunate to have this strong partnership with our Rangers,” said Damadeo. “They invest the time and attention needed to keep our Braves safe.”
