The Indian Hill School District is pleased to announce four outstanding educational leaders who will assume new roles for the 2026-2027 school year, strengthening the district's continued commitment to exceptional student learning and leadership.
Nate Eigher, Assistant Principal at Indian Hill High School
Nate Eigher has been named assistant principal of Indian Hill High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Since joining Indian Hill in 2012, Eigher has served the district in a variety of impactful leadership roles, including intervention specialist, member of the Brave Leadership Team, K-12 Dean of Students, assistant principal at both Indian Hill Primary School and Indian Hill Elementary School, and longtime varsity head wrestling coach. His deep understanding of the district, combined with nearly two decades of educational leadership experience and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, positions him to effectively support Indian Hill High School students, staff and families.
"Indian Hill has been my professional home for more than a decade, and I am honored to continue serving our students in this new role," said Eigher. "I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, supporting our outstanding staff, and partnering with families to ensure every student has the opportunity to grow, succeed and thrive."
Kristi Booth, Assistant Principal at Indian Hill Elementary School
Kristi Booth has been named assistant principal at Indian Hill Elementary School for the upcoming school year. Booth brings a wealth of leadership experience to the position, having served as an intervention specialist, Special Education Supervisor, second-grade teacher, and most recently as Indian Hill High School's Innovation Coach. Throughout her career, she has led numerous districtwide initiatives, including serving as a CPI trainer, helping develop and organize the district's Personalized Professional Learning platform, leading the district's expanding Summer School program, and serving on Brave Leadership Teams at both the middle and primary schools. Her broad instructional expertise, collaborative leadership style and unwavering commitment to students make her an outstanding addition to the Indian Hill Elementary leadership team.
"I am incredibly excited to step into the role of assistant principal," said Booth. "Having served this exceptional community for 13 years as a teacher, district coordinator, and instructional coach, my focus has always been, and will always be, putting our students at the center of everything we do. I am eager to leverage my 23 years of educational experience to join a phenomenal school team and continue the work of our district's strategic vision."
Elizabeth Ruebusch, Assistant Principal at Indian Hill Primary School
Elizabeth Ruebusch has been named assistant principal of Indian Hill Primary School. Since joining Indian Hill in 2006, Ruebusch has dedicated her career to serving the district's youngest learners. She began as a classroom teacher before becoming Innovative Teaching & Learning Coach at Indian Hill Primary in 2021. She has also served on the Indian Hill Primary Brave Leadership Team since 2016, helping guide instructional innovation and school improvement efforts. Ruebusch earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University and a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Ashland University. In 2025, she was recognized with the Hamilton County Educational Service Center Celebrate Excellence Teaching Award.
"I am excited to serve in this role because of the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students each day," said Ruebusch. "Watching their curiosity grow, their confidence build, and their successes unfold is what inspires my work and makes it so rewarding. It is a privilege to support their journey and be part of a community dedicated to helping every student thrive."
Lorinda Ottaway Joins Indian Hill as Interim Instructional Coach
The district also welcomes Lorinda Ottaway as its newest instructional coach, primarily serving at Indian Hill High School, in an interim capacity for the 2026-2027 school year. Ottaway brings more than 36 years of educational experience to Indian Hill. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, university instructor and educational consultant. She spent 29 years with Sycamore Community Schools before serving as principal at Clinton-Massie Middle School and Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Ursuline Academy. Ottaway has also taught as an adjunct instructor at both the University of Cincinnati and Ashland University and continues to support schools through educational consulting and professional development. In her new role, Ottaway will partner with Indian Hill educators to support instructional excellence, professional learning and innovative teaching practices across the district.
