The Indian Hill School District celebrates Indian Hill High School tennis Braves Neelan Gandhi and Gareth Kurowski, who captured the 2026 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division II State Doubles Championship during the state tournament on May 29, 2026, at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. The state champions will be celebrated along with Coach Michael Piergalski, and assistant coaches Adam Wolter and Brian Schubert, during the August Board of Education meeting.

“Winning a state championship is an extraordinary accomplishment and a reflection of countless hours of discipline and teamwork,” said Brian Phelps, Indian Hill director of alumni & community advancement. “Our doubles champions represented Indian Hill with class, determination, and competitive excellence throughout the tournament. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and grateful to our coaches, families, and supporters who helped make this moment possible. This championship is another example of what it means to be a Brave and to pursue excellence in everything we do.”

“Neelan and Gareth have demonstrated the dedication, resilience, and character that define Indian Hill Braves,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Andy Gruber. “Their state championship is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work they have invested both on and off the court. We are proud of the way they represented our school, our community, and the values of Indian Hill throughout the season.”

The Indian Hill Board of Education will recognize and celebrate Gandhi and Kurowski's state championship achievement during the August 11 meeting, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the District Office. Community members are invited to attend.
