Began serving the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District: 2014
Began serving students in education: 2004

Being a Brave means having a strong sense of pride in the quality of work I do and striving for excellence in every situation and setting. The #IHPromise, to me, is the collection of student opportunities and achievements that demonstrate learning, excellence, and community. The best moment of my day is when a student or ensemble is struggling and then has that “aha” moment.  I love Frederick Douglass’ statement: “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”  The art of teaching is finding just the right balance and pushing students to where they struggle just enough to grow and see their progress.
