OJCL students showing off their trophies
Indian Hill Latin Club once again participated in the Ohio Junior Classical League (OJCL) convention in Columbus, demonstrating their prowess with all things Latin. The OJCL, part of the National JCL, is the state organization that promotes the study of the Latin language and classical civilization. Their annual convention features a variety of competitive activities, including academic tests, art contests, certamen (a team sport similar to Academic Challenge), and creative performances (in both English and Latin). In addition, the convention offers a number of social activities, including a dance, a toga banquet, and the new OJCL’s Got Talent!
