Change lives, change your outlook, make an impact by working with individuals with disabilities!

Stepping Stones, Inc. is a United Way partner agency and non-profit organization that provides programs and services to kids, teens and adults with disabilities. Founded in in 1963, our summer day camps and overnight camps at our Allyn campus located in Batavia and our Given Campus located in Indian Hill provide recreational opportunities for ages 5-22 (day camps) and ages 13-85 (overnight camps).

Stepping Stones is currently offering volunteer opportunities for middle school, high school and college students at its Camp Allyn and Given Road campuses. They are in need of summer day camp counselors, overnight counselors, lifeguards and volunteers to staff our programs.

Volunteering with Stepping Stones counts in many ways!  Students have the ability to meet school or church community service hour requirements while enjoying a memorable season of helping kids and teens with disabilities have the best summer of their lives.  Volunteers must by ages 13 and above and have a desire to help people with disabilities. Day Camp Counselors must be ages 16 and above. Overnight Camp Counselors must be 18 and above.  Lifeguards must be 16 or older by May 2017 and must have current CPR and lifeguard certification.
