The Indian Hill School District and IH Arts Conservatory celebrate five Indian Hill High School student musicians who have earned recognition through the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State Ensembles, one of the premier honors available to high school musicians across the state.

Selected to participate in the OMEA All-State Ensembles are:
•    Elsa Neidich – soprano, All-State Choir
•    Claire Reeuwijk – soprano, All-State Choir
•    Darcy McMahon – double bass, All-State Band

Additionally, two IHHS musicians were named alternates:
•    Jonathan McGrath – double bass, All-State Orchestra Alternate
•    Ella Kim – piano, All-State Band Alternate

The All-State selection process brings together outstanding student musicians from across Ohio through a competitive application and audition process. This year’s recognition highlights the breadth of nationally recognized musical experiences available through the Indian Hill Arts Conservatory, with students from the IHHS choir, orchestra, and band programs earning statewide honors.

“To have students recognized across these three disciplines of choir, band, and orchestra is something worth celebrating,” said Indian Hill Arts Conservatory Director Amy Clark. “These students have invested tremendous time and energy into developing their musicianship, and this recognition reflects that commitment. I also love that their individual paths look different. Our goal is to give students opportunities to explore, grow, and discover all the ways they can be musicians and artists. We are incredibly proud of each of them.”

The selected musicians will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside other accomplished high school musicians from throughout Ohio as part of the OMEA All-State Ensembles, with performances taking place in late January 2027.
