My husband, Jeff, and I have proudly called Indian Hill home for 11 years. All three of our children have grown up in the Indian Hill Schools and look forward to being members of the 13-Year Club. I have had the privilege of being involved in our schools in many different capacities over the years. This year, I am honored to serve as the Indian Hill PTO President. It is incredibly meaningful to be able to give back to the schools and community that have given our family so much.
I believe that being a Brave means showing up - for yourself, for others, and for our community. It means having the courage to try new things, the confidence to be yourself, and the character to lift others up along the way.
To me, the #IHPromise is a commitment to creating a community where every student feels known, supported, challenged, and valued. It is a promise that we will continue to work together as families, students, educators, staff, and community members to provide an environment for our children to grow not only academically, but also as compassionate, confident, and responsible individuals.
The Indian Hill PTO is about community, connection, and opportunity. Our goal is to provide meaningful experiences, programs, and support that enrich the lives of our students, staff, and families throughout the district. From new and innovative field trips, to special events like Party In The Middle and After Prom, we strive to create memorable experiences for our students at every level. Our annual Party On The Hill fundraiser brings our community together while raising critical funds to support our schools and students. We also show our appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff who make Indian Hill exceptional through staff lunches, appreciation events, and ongoing support throughout the year.
For me personally, the Indian Hill PTO is about making sure we continue to listen, collaborate, and find new ways to engage families. We have an incredible community, and I want the Indian Hill PTO to be a welcoming organization where everyone feels there is a place for them.
Everything I do is rooted in making Indian Hill Schools the very best for our students, our staff, our schools, and our community. Indian Hill is truly a one-of-a-kind district, offering experiences that are difficult to find anywhere else. I am passionate about supporting those opportunities and helping ensure that every student has the ability to thrive. I accepted this role because I believe deeply in this community and in what we are capable of accomplishing together. My job is not to have all the answers. It is to bring people together around a shared vision, remove barriers, celebrate successes, and help create opportunities for every student to thrive. If we do that well, the accomplishments will speak for themselves.
My hope for this year is that we continue to build on everything that makes Indian Hill special while also embracing new ideas, new voices, and new opportunities. When we come together with a shared purpose, our students are the ones who benefit the most.
