The Indian Hill School District creates leadership opportunities for student storytelling in a nationally award-winning program that launched in the fall of 2024: IH Student Ambassadors.
In partnership with Campus Life and the IH Entrepreneurs' Center, the Communications Department trains, coaches, and mentors a team of student ambassadors in grades K-12 who share the story of the district in-person with new families, on social media channels, and through monthly strategic video storytelling to gain communications Experienceships.
The Indian Hill School District is proud to announce that Chief Communications Officer Heather Higdon was honored with a 2025 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Gold Medallion Award for this innovative student Experienceship. This top national honor recognizes exemplary, strategic school communication programs and is the only award of its kind in the field of school public relations.
